BT Reward Card now available

BT’s high-value Reward Card offer for fixed line broadband has been extended until Thursday 18 May 2017.

These deals include a free £200 prepaid BT Reward Card to spend as you see fit.

There is less than a week left to sign up and receive one of the highest value bonuses available with a broadband contract.

Who can get the BT Reward Card?

BT Broadband packages, for ASDL internet up to 17Mbps, include a card worth £150. BT Infinity packages, for fibre internet, come with the option of the £200 card.

These cards come pre-loaded with £200 and you can spend it on whatever you like – there are no restrictions.

What is a BT Reward Card?

BT load a prepaid card with cash, then once it’s activated you can start spending.

Be careful though: once the £200 is gone, the card is finished. You can’t load your own money onto the card so it’s not like a debit or credit card.

How do I use a BT Reward Card?

The BT Reward Card uses Chip and PIN and there are no credit checks – as soon as you activate it online, you can start spending.

Anywhere that takes MasterCard will take the BT Reward Card, including online with Amazon, or any of the big supermarkets.

Once you’ve ordered your new broadband deal and it is installed, head over to BT’s Claim My Reward Card page to log in and claim your reward using your BT ID.
It should get to you in 30 days, but if not you can get in touch with BT direct here.

You can check your balance online for free by visiting www.purecard.com.

In addition, BT Mobile have extended their discounts on 2GB, 6GB and 15GB data allowance plans, also until Thursday 18 May. Mobile packages also include gift cards ranging in value from £30 to £100.

Minimum contract terms are between 12 months and 24 months, and it is important to avoid rolling over your contract and entering into standard pricing.

Existing BT customers can find offers available on the BT website, which you will have to manually sign up for to avoid automatically switching to a rolling contract once your minimum term expires.

It may even be worth calling BT regarding your retention deal and haggling down the price – BT would rather keep a customer paying less than not have you at all.

If your negotiating skills aren’t up to the task, you’re likely to find much more value elsewhere by switching provider altogether.
